Anyone else here have a phone that runs on Android? I just picked up the HTC Dream and I'm loving it. Recommend me some apps!

I recently got a HTC Legend. I love it, except the battery life could be better.

Does anyone know of a good forum app for the Android?

How do I sync Outlook calendar, contacts, and notes to Android?

I tried syncing Outlook to Gmail to Android using Google PC sync (http://www.google.com/sync/pc.html) but it only syncs calendar (not to mention it crashes my Outlook).

So what's the best way to do this? I know there are some pay programs that syncs Outlook to Android but I would prefer something free.

Handscent SMS - a good app to replace your standard messaging/texting. Highly customizable and cool features
Advanced Task Killer (ATK) - good for killing background apps to save you some battery life and give you some speed back
ColorNote - I like it for putting "sticky notes" on my screen for reminders and such
Angry Birds - for when you're bored! :P

I have a few different apps syncing, because I like the different functionality of each.

You can export Outlook notes to Evernote. I don't believe you can sync however, but I also use Evernote on my iPad (and now on my PC) so I don't bother with notes in Outlook.

Google calendar sync works for me and syncs things back and forth no problem.

PocketInformant syncs tasks through a service called Toodledo, which also syncs to Outlook. PI also does calendars, but I just use my gmail calendar for that which is already synced to Outlook of course.

Contacts I haven't tackled yet because Outlook is actually a new addition for me, and I don't have a lot of contacts on that work setup that I need on my phone. I will have to figure this one out next.

Finally found a decent program to sync Outlook (calendar & contacts) to Android.
This site has a full list of available software (free and pay): http://www.syncdroid.net/

I ended up using MyPhoneExplorer (http://www.fjsoft.at/en/downloads.php) which syncs Outlook calendar and contacts to Android via wi-fi or usb.
