I checked it out too when driving home on Friday morning. At 120 km/h the rpm is approx 3150, give or take a nickel. For some reason I thought it was a little highter......

Hey Steve, thanks for offering to make it out.

Wasn't too bad getting the front bumper off though I couldn't move the wiring for the outside temp gauge and fogs, so it didn't totally come off. The power cable to the Supertones some how broke off pretty much right where it connects to the horn. It looks as though it was cut so not sure what could have done that. I have to splice in some more line so that it can reach a little better and would maybe stop the same issue from happening again. Pain in the ass.

Thankfully all was not lost, I got to put in a new skid plate........mine started to drag..................

90% sure I'm going to post up my 2008 MS3 for sale, give you local boys first crack at it. If any of you or you know of anyone that may be interested. Some of you know me, for those of you who don't, fire off any q's you might have about the Mazda. Anyone that knows me, knows how much I love this car and baby it. Here's the bones of it...

Rust module and oiled (figured I'd attack it from every angle I could, seemed to have work not a spot started)

CP-E Catted TBE (no smoking turbo with my car even after I installed the TBE over a year ago)

I won't be making it to the caliper painting party but I have my jack, stands, impact gun (1/2 inch drive), 21mm impact socket, Johnson bar and 14mm wrench to take the air line chuck off of the gun if it won't fit the compressor line all in my trunk. Steve said it can be picked up. I don't know who is picking it up but it is all ready to go if you guys want to use it tonight!! The Johnson bar is in case you guys don't use the impact gun!

So may not have the Speed back for next week. Parts behind the bumper are on back order from Japan and Mazda Canada has no idea when the orders will be filled. Had to cancel my appointment with Jimmy that was made 3+ weeks ago, phoned Altech yesterday about an appointment next Friday which I had to cancel today as well.

The repair shop (Assured Leaside) tried to help out as best they can and in no way shape or form do I blame them.

Not pleased and the worst part is that it is no one is at fault directly. There's no one to yell and scream at. The only thing I have is a Mazda 2 which has already outgrown its "cute-ness".

First off Welcome! Secondly, I got my tints done in town here at Tint King (on Wellington). I have 20% all around, never had any problems with the "one tyme". The benifit of having it done at Tint King - lifetime warranty. An yes Mr. Wilson is right, you should come out to our meets, every week, Thursday night (tonight), at crabbie joes on oxford west (just west of wonderland rd - south side).

Sorry haven't been on in a couple of days, I have had body work done (painted a new bumper on my old car) in St. Thomas at the GM dealership, they do a great job, its quick and the cheapest around. what do you need to get done? whay kind of body work?

Hey Paul, I had some work done on the van at White Oaks Auto Body on White Oak Rd. I was super impressed with their work!!!
As for the place by the reporting centre, it's called Don Mor or Don Mar. You couldn't pay me to go there. I seen some of their work and I'm personally not impressed with them on a customer service level (my Dad had work done there). Poor job and they were just A** Holes.

Hey found a Sale thread on CAI (Cold Air Intake). From Nextmod, I would personally go with the AEM (since AEM makes the mazdaspeed intakes as well). Dont forget to get a injen hydro sheild at the same time.

I had my car tinted at Tint King on Wellington (between southdale and commisioners) great job, and guaranteed for life.

As far as Probart goes, serveice there is great, but when you call ask for Andrew, and drive you car into the left side of the service bays when you go (Andrew is much better to work with), let him know I recomended that you talk to him (my name is Tyler Garrod) I deal with him a lot, he'll take good care of you.

Also we meet each week on Thursday at Crabbie Joe's on Oxford just west of Wonderland @ 9pm, you shoudl come out!

So i went to sunfest last night for fun to see what was there and on my way in I happened to see one of the most riced out cars ever. Canary yellow, holes where the fogs should be (cough, steve, cough), matching yellow windshield wipers, crooked sideskirts, etc. Then I noticed it was actually a mazda 3 lol. Had to do 3 takes because I couldnt believe how far this car had been transformed until I could barely notice my own car :S Has anyone seen this roamin around?
