anywho, you're probably not getting it to work because the HSPA network hasn't become live yet.

Actually HSPA has been "live" for a few months now, but aren't named Bell/Telus, but CAN880 or some variation of it.

Yeah, there are a few networks, but that CAN880 one seems to be the main/most current one.

I am afraid i hate you right now! hahahaha! I won't be getting it (possibly) until it comes out NEXT month! You had it on the Rogers network WAY before it ever came out too! What is your secret?? :chuckle
Try restarting the phone... If you just threw the SIM in while the phone was previously on another carrier, it doesn't always update the carrier information automatically. Alternatively, try to plug it into iTunes. (If you can)
Another method, jailbreak the phone and find out Bell's Internet settings and manually add them to the .plist file (Can't remember which). If I remember correctly, you probably don't even need to jailbreak it, you can email a special file to your phone and install it via email (I did this to get my tethering working, before it was officially released).
Edit: The name of the file you can email to automatically update your carrier settings without jailbreaking is called 'MobileConfig', FYI.

^^^ that's basically how rogers set its network settings.
you can also manually reset your network settings under General - Reset - Reset Network Settings.
also try "resetting" - hold power and home button for 10 sec until screen flashes off.
did the reset still nothing
dude make me that file plz

Did you plug it into iTunes?
Thats usually the first step to activate the phone.

Ok, I know this is probably never going to be figured out until the system officially goes online but if you aren't actually contributing information that can help Vlad, please refrain from posting the obvious.
This is becoming a bickering thread and we don't need it.
I've cleaned this up so lets keep it that way!

What are the plans for the Iphone with bell and is it the same as rogers the 3yrs/$199??

there are no official details or pricing released yet, however there is speculation the at least at the beginning stage bell will be offering promotional plans that will be lower than the rogers current pricing. not necessarily on the phone pricing itself, but on the phone+data plan package combo.
