Yup. Machida knows as he stuck to the '3 judges decided I won unanimously'. Basically the whole "it doesnt matter what I think, I don't decide who wins".

I'd say AT MOST I coulda gave Lyoto 2 rounds. Machida got picked apart with some lethal kicks to the stomach and legs.

That being said, I was one who predicted Machida winning in the 3rd but boy was I wrong. Luckily I didn't order the fight, otherwise I woulda been pissed.

I agree Shogun was screwed. That said, I don't think it was "rigged". The problem lies in the training of judges. Judges are not MMA specific. Until judges are trained to score MMA fights, this type of BS will continue.
The amusing part is Dana White saying both fighters have agreed to an immediate rematch...I'll believe it when I see it.

Rigged? Well, if it was rigged, Dana would not have guaranteed a rematch. He woulda just stuck to the "the decision of the refs is final, machida won fair and square" and all that junk that you see other professional sports when refs blow calls and such.

My friend was beyond pissed as he coulda paid for next semester of school with his potential winnings lol.

I think machida only won ONE of the 5 rounds, and that was about it. No way he woulda won 3. On top of that the decision was UNANIMOUS? That was complete bs. Machida was bruised and battered in his midsection and legs. Shogun ripped him apart and he was clearly the winner.
