Had a Magnaflow muffler installed at JPG. This shop has been recommended by other members so I gave them a try. Dealt with George Hano.
In summary: very good experience. Since I have a 2010 m3 GX with single exhaust the in/out pipes at the final muffler are installed side by each. I did not realized this fact until install time. George had to use mandrel to do proper bends. Also bought from JPG (muffler purchased from a member) a 4" stainless tip. All custom piping used by JPG is also stainless.
Lifetime warranty.
Sound considering it's not full CB and resonator has not been removed is just right. No difference when cruising & semi deep throaty sound when accelerating and idling.

Interesting. Might have to check this place out. Was thinking of doing small work without going full catback. The fact it's close by helps.

Hey Iceman,
They also have a load of mufflers, pipes and tips in stock.
Check their website: www.jpgexhaust.com although it is not complete. They don't list their stock so I bought a muffler from the forum member. Had I known they actually sell mufflers too I might have bought one from them thus possibly avoiding extra labor cost.

Yeah, I already saw the site. Can't afford anything right now so maybe later I'll get something. But good to know there's something close by

i'm still around, i haven't left, but post a lot less. work has been busy and takes up most of my time nowadays.
i'm trying to keep it to a minimal, i think there are very few things left that i really want to do. maybe another 1K max. After that, i'm done...lol
so i say.

word to the wise, you'll be feeling very spirtual by the time you're done there. Those who have been know what I'm talking about, for those that don't, its a fun surprise.

I know what you mean hahaha.
I went to them last spring to get a muffler installed and they were great! I dealt with Philip and he was a very pleasant. We actually ended up having a huge talk about Singapore and Malaysia b/c he asked if I or my family were from that area (which they are) judging from my last name (him and his family are from Singapore if I recall). :)
It's a great shop though. I'm definitely going there to get more work done when come time to do so.

they don't have this on their site anymore, but the J in JPG stands for Jesus (the P for Phillip, and the G for George)
