Hey gang,

I'm looking over the Cobb map notes and apparently my car is hitting them bang on... The reason I started this thread though, prior to my FMIC my car was spiking at around 21.X psi and holding at about 18-19 psi. With the new map I'm running, MAX I've peaked at was low 18 psi and it holds at around 15-16 psi. I'm also getting part throttle hesitation, but I'm not sure if that's related.

I'm still on stock plugs (Hope to change this soon). Running the SF1+93+FMIC v1.05 map which I'm told is new (This is one of the first stage 1 FMIC revisions, previously only available for stage2). I wish there was an easy way to compare two maps without going through each table...

I pulled some logs off my AP and fuel pressure is acceptable (1620.01 psi).

In fact, here's an entry from my last log:

Accl Pos: 72.15% (I was either coming off or in the process of going WOT)
Throttle Pos: 73.71%
AFR (Actual): 10.29
RPM: 4876
LTFT: -0.16
STFT: -0.16
Speed: 60.89 mph (3rd gear I imagine?)
Fuel Inj Amt: 10.94 mg/cyl
DI Fuel Press: 1620.01
Boost: 17.98
Wastegate: 0%
Spark Adv: 5.5
MAF Volt: 4.19
Boost Air Temp: 95F
Intake Temp: 96.8F
Knock Retard: 0

Things look pretty good there. You could adjust the LTFT a little by scaling your maf in the MAf table. There is a good post on MSF about how to do that.

You probably want to fool with the "Normal BAT" boost tables in your AP map. I had the same issue with my car, on the Stage 2+SF 93octane map I could only get a steady 16-17psi not 19 as the map states. I altered the boost tables for a little less low RPM boost, a higher midrange, and a little more drop off cbetween 6250 and 6700rpm compared to the COBB values. Got a much better curve with a stead 19psi.

You can also adjust throttle mapping, but I have never fooled with that.

I'm going to try calibrating my MAF sensor and go from there. In v1.05+93+Stg1 everything was fine, in v1.03 of the same map it was jerky like this current map. I figured it was a maf thing but the values are the same. I'll try calibrating and changing my plugs and see where I'm left.

Thx for the tips!

Make sure to gap the plugs correctly with a gapper, if they aren't correct already. My NGK 1step colder's wer way out of gap about .042 vs .028 optimally.
