odd sound wile driving

i have a 05 5spd hatch
my problem started with a " woomp woomp woomp" sound .. it was fairly consistent, then i got a vibration at around 100km ..

had tires balanced they were out a fair bit . wheel bearings and all seem to be good . the vibration stopped.

now i still have a "woomp woomp woomp" sound and next to no vibration.

things i have noticed is the inner on the front tires the tred is frayed like half of the tred blocks seem to be curled up .. kinda like a paddle ..
not sure how to explain it ..

any thoughts ?

Is the sound speed dependent?

In any case, if your front tires show excessive wear on the inner edge that probably is the source of the sound, and it does look like you need an alignment done.

it hard to tell it really dont sound like the sound changes with speed ..
and yes i was thinking alignment as well only thing i can think of that would cause that is maybe toe in is off ..

they dont seem to be worn in inner edge just seem like each block of tread sits on a angle so the raised part meets the next blocks lower part its odd lol
