Use a proxy portal.

Uhh.. if you need to go to them for work, then why did someone at work block you from them?
Maybe you should speak to your IT department/whoever put up the block to remove it?

But yes, PCLL is right-- use a proxy. Depending on what the site is, not everything may work. Some sites block interactive Flash stuff, JavaScript, or even downloads.
Just search for "anonymous browsing" or "proxy browsing" or something similar and you should get a bunch of hits.

Proxy may not be the solution to his problem. It really depends on how MoT is set up (filtering done at the local level vs. done at a central data hub). If it is using a system like content filtering, hotwork flaggers, then the "less savvy" user is SOL.

The only problem with content blockers is if your IT dept. is smart they also block proxy sites ( my work does this )

My IT department (one guy) sucks. They block internet explorer from using the net, so I bring in a thumb drive with firefox portable on it, no restrictions :chuckle

At my work, they FORCE us to use Internet Explorer.
Best part is, I'm still running Windows 2000 and they won't upgrade me. So I'm still running IE6.
I installed Firefox once and they found it and wiped it, giving me a stern "no no you can't use this, we ALL MUST USE INTERNET EXPLORER HERE" warning.

Some people. :bang

This site is actually good for its original intentions BUT if you cant view a youtube video simply because "Its not available in your country" use this and you will be able to use it since the proxy is under the U.S. Perfect
