i'm looking at buying a 2010 speed 3
i was hoping to get your thoughts on the car good and BAD

if i do buy, is an extended warranty suggested?

Really depends on how long you plan on keeping the car. I would never buy an extended warranty from the dealership because it's always more expensive. You could always buy an extended warranty from an independent organization shortly before your manufacturer warranty expires (about 3 yrs comprehensive). Who knows what your future will bring; you might end up trading for something else in a couple years...Nissan GTR...BMW M3....
