I've been looking around and I was just wondering if anyone can recommend a CAI and Muffler that will bolt into the stock location without and trouble?
I'm not looking for something to loud just something to give me a better sound and some better performance.
Thanks

Possibly a PRM intake, Fujita F5 Intake, Mazdaspeed Intake there all good and give you a nice sound. And for the exhaust look into the Mazdaspeed 3 OEM CBE it gives you a nice growl to go along with any intake.

Well pretty much all intakes are direct bolt-ons to the stock location. That being said, unless you get a SRI, you will have to remove the stock resonator, which, although is not hard, requires a bit more work.

the SRI and resonator have got nothing to do with each other... unless there's something I don't know..

I bought an HKS replica off ebay (the brand is labeled as S*RS). Cost me $300 cdn shipped to me door. It sounds awesome. Very, very smooth tone. It actually sounds better than the HKS unit lol.
Here is a video...

Mind you, the car has an intake. The exhaust by itself was a bit quieter under wide open throttle...

I just purchased a custom CBE with a magnaflow muffler. I'll post a video of the sound after I get it installed.
