Doesn't look like there is a clear cut "group of death". Group G is interesting though with Brazil, Portugal, Ivory Coast, and Korea. Brazil and Portugal should advance (as much as I hate to say that LOL!), but African teams are very unpredictable.

Portugal comes out on top when needed most but 2nd place won't be bad at all

doubt they make it out of the group stage 1 player does not a team make (Drogba). Portugal might also have a hard time, south Korea is a very athletic team and might give them problems, especially since they (south korea) have more players playing internationally now for club teams
*sorry had a flag recognition fail, it's North Korea, nvm, still can't believe that they are even allowed to compete!!*
Another great team to watch, Ghana.
I was real impressed with their performance during the 2006 FIFA World Cup.

kalou, toure brothers and kone deserve recognition as well, so it's not really a one man team especially yaya can be considered one of the best dmfs in the game right now he's the rock in barca's midfield

ok I'll give you kalou, and yaya, I haven't seen enough of the toure brothers, or Kone to really give a statement. Who would Ivory Coast have in goal though is a big question. Both Portugal and Brasil have players that can pick corners from almost anywhere on the field

that's a very good point, but seeing how portugal has struggled over the qualification period, as well as the sheer size of the team, i can see them being man-handled by the africans especially since they have home advantage... they are by far the most successful african team and the favourites out of the continent
