I bought my 2010 from Kyle Clark at this dealership. The deal I got on my car was insane! Took me a while to get my price though. Had a few issues with their advertising accuracies at first but Kyle DID the best he could to meet me at my price. Would reccommend the drive to Orangeville to get the cheap dealz!
How cheap was this dealz. What did you get?

I had a not so good expirience with the Orangeville guys. I work for a Ford supplier so I got the X-plan pricing. I told them this upfront and they tried to get me for $500 a month over,**cough** 7 years. I says to myself, "Self, tell them to Go #$$K themselves". Anyway, got it down to $405 a month, 5 years extended the warranty and undercoat total is $450 for a 2009 sport GT with sunroof. I called their bluff and called Oakville, work in the area, and they quoted $390 a month for the car. Called back to Orangeville and mentioned my non-haggle price. They gave me $200 in gas cards..... Of course I did trade in a car with a blown head gasket.........They tried, I won.....:super smiley

I Paid $17780 all in for my GX - nothing much for my trade, it was a 2001 Aztek..needed some fixin' but their AD was what brought me there initially, of course it was a "misprint" I was told, but I got as close to the AD price and was happy. And yes, I already agree with their service dept...A little shady imo.

Funny, they seem to have quite a few advertising 'mistakes'
I think they focus a lot on catering to customers who are not in their immediate area by offering decent deals and getting the customer to come to their dealership. Decent approach IMO since their immediate market size isn't that big at all.
That being said, my experience there was below average and although they provide decent price on the vehicle itself, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone I know from GTA.
- Did they provide a decent deal? Yes
- Did they provide any mentionable customer service?
No. I came to an agreement with the GM there to include accessories at cost they get them and they did not honor it and I didn't care to fight them. My laziness in not getting it in writing, etc but I think that goes to show their creditability. In fact, when I inquired, they gave me prices 5% off retail and claimed that it was their cost they get them at. Also, I was told that they would only charge the licensing transfer fee from MTO of $10-20 for license transfer but then tried to charge me $70 fee for it plus service when I picked up the vehicle claiming that they never told me the $10-20 number. It was my word against theirs at this point so not too much fun. Standard claims of Krown rust proof bashing, sales attempt for additional packages, etc apply but to be fair, that goes for most dealerships I guess. It's these relatively small things that irritated me about that dealership. Ended up just picking up the vehicle as is without ANY additional packages.
- Was it worth the drive up? For me, it's questionable considering 1 hr each way to buy the vehicle and another 1 hr each way to pick it up totaling 4+ hrs of travel time and at the end got the price I'm happy with but left no trust in them whatsoever. Have I known about some of the sponsors here, I would've tried calling them first as reviews on them seem excellent.
At the end, I don't really feel that I was cheated as they weren't exceptionally bad compared to many other dealerships I've been to in my life. Pretty low standard I guess lol
However, I probably won't go back there again and definitely wouldn't send anyone I know there. Just my 2 cents~

I would never go back there. They lied to me to get me in there, they said they had a lot of the '09 M3 sport's remaining, they actually had none. I should of just left after that. However, I test drove the 2010 and fell in love with the car, ended up buying it and got no deal on it. I would never recommend anyone to go there. Just my 2 cents...

If that's the same one they had back in December, it should have 120-130k on it.

FYI Not certain if they lied to me but what got me in there was the call evening before regarding a car I was interested in. They told me it's available over the call. I got there a 9am next morning and I was told that the vehicle was gone.

Last year they had a promotion for a free Mazda watch (which they touted as a $99 value.. it sells for ten bucks at Mazda of Brampton) and umbrella if you take a car for a test drive, so I went up there to take an RX8 for a spin. The car was mechanically good but it was not a Shinka as advertised, the rear tires were nearly bald, and the sticker price was almost double what similar vehicles were listed at on Autotrader. Also my wife really wants a yellow one, winning blue being a second choice. This one was red. The sales guy we dealt with was very nice but we had to talk to a manager to get the goodies for taking the test drive, and he clearly wanted to sell us this car by any means necessary. He tried to convince us that the car is super-rare (it is not) and red is "the best colour".. even though we told him repeatedly that it wasn't our preference. When I mentioned I had seen similar cars for half the price online he offered to slash $10k off the sticker price, so he obviously knew they had overpriced it. After a few minutes of harassment they honoured the promotion, but this guy with listening problems left a bad taste in our mouths.

That is what we call in the industry "rewarding dishonesty". By purchasing the car when you were baited and switched, you further justify that business practice to that dealership. If more customer did what your 1st instinct was, dealers like them would be out of business very quickly.

Back in Nov 09 I brought a 2009 MX5 GT, they advertise on autotrader that the vehicle had 3000 Km on it and when I got there it the car turns out to have only 99 Km in it. Anyway i got an awsome deal with the factory cash rebate and a very good value trade in.

Kimro, I can agree with you on the "errors" on the advertising. I made the mistake of venturing up to Orangeville for a used 2010 and sure enough they tried to switch me to a new 2010 and even uped the price on the advertised used 2010. I must say the bait and switch p....d me off but for them to come back with a higher price than advertised well I had to let the GM and the rest of the people at the dealership know how up set I was. I also notified Mazda Canada(franchisor) about their practice and I would suggest others do the same. Hopefully enough people will get these people to lose their license. :flaming

Good, about time.
Had a nice phone call with Mazda Canada about them. I hope they go out of business or get shut down.
Can't they be sued for false advertising after being caught with so many advertising "problems" then changing the price when arrived?

I would believe as long as they are doing a large number of deals every month the manufacturer will 'look into it". If the sales drop and complaints roll in that might be a different story. Like I said in a previous post as long as people are still buying nothing will change.

:p Seems like their practice of advertising phantom vehicles happen pretty often.
If you keep in mind that whatever vehicle that gets you to drive there may be one of these phantom vehicles, I think you'll be fine. It is a questionable practice indeed but there seem to be a general consensus that they will give you a good - decent deal.

Only one question then begs to be asked then..............Do you really think you got a better deal than your local dealer could have provided you? You still rewarded them with your business for deceiving you.

They are at it again!! I received a flyer in the mail from Mazda of Orangeville. They were advertising the 2010 Mazda 3 for $13,988.00. must bring in this ad to qualify for this price. I went there with ad in hand and was told it was for a demo. It did not state this on the ad. All it says in the fine print is "while quantities last" sale ends May 15 2010. The salesman then went to the sales manager and came back saying that it was a printing error and they do not know how this happened. He still offered me a good price for a GX of $20,366.41 taxes in which is $339.44 monthly for 60 months. They even offered me good money for my trade in that they never even checked out. They were pushing me into buying an aluminum one that was on the lot, but the battery was dead. I think its a great deal, but my spidey senses are tingling. I work in Newmarket and there is a Dave Wood Mazda here. Should I bring the quote to them or would this just cause a s**t war?

I got $1012 for a 2001 Grand Am with a blown head gasket but if you deal with them you'll have to bring their price down, and down, and down. And watch for the double administration fees. Or just buy you Mazda somewhere else.

They are now not allowed to sell any new Mazda cars at all....Mazda ended their sales agreement with the owner of the dealership. Apparently, the a$$hole that I dealt with got fired (Moe) but if you read the article he is supposedly partners with the owner of Mazda of Orangeville in a Suzuki dealership in Pickering!!! OMG.....Be aware everyone....Moe Shaik and Mr. Bains seem to be in cahoots with each other and aren't just with Mazda!

My Wife and I purchased our 2010 Mazda B2300 from Orangeville Mazda and traded in our '08 Mazda3, back in January. What drew me to them was the response to an email I sent regarding this truck. I know what I wanted and knew the price range we were willing to go with the trade in. We had a rookie salesperson named Sonia. One of the sweetest gals you would want to meet. She was very fresh but we gave her the benifit of the doubt and the extra time when she was unsure about something. THEN.. after we had verbally and put to paper the transaction details, along comes MOE. (one of the turfed guys) He started his fast talk, paper shuffling and tried to talk us out of having the snow tires included in the deal (no chance there) He also pestered us to try to take the 1.9% financing over 6 years instead of the 0% over 5. He tried with all his greasyness to get us to take every possible extra offered warrentee wise and rust proof, Scotch Guard.. etc. he started printing papers and shuffling them as quickly as he could. Luckly, my wife is a Director of Marketing and she can hold her own with anyone when they are trying to shaft us. After we left, satisfied with our deal, he called us to tell us that they could not mount the winter tires on winter rims because they didn't make them. I asked Moe what they would do then since we had in writing "Winter tires and Rims." he said they couldn't do anything. When we picked up the truck we left there with the winters on the Alum. rims and $300.00 in Esso gas cards, And made them give us the winter floor mat package for $50. Some scum make it bad for all.
I was in the Orangville Mazda dealership last week to have the snows swapped for the all seasons, and an oil change. I noticed the CITY TV crew, the Global TV crew and other media there doing interviews. I asked Sonia what was going on and she asked Sunny. Sunny told her that it was just to promote their new Spring Sales Event. See, they even lie to their own. I hope Sonia gets a job at another dealer, but an honest one. She deserves it.
And, I wonder how I am going to get my letter "A" that they have sitting there, that pealed off the back of my truck. :(

I love the paper shuffle, it's such obvious bullshit that it makes me stare at the salesperson and quietly ask 'are you shuffling papers on me?'
Right before I walk out. My B.S. meter is set pretty high, and I bet this Moe dude would have set it off if he had come within 10ft of me.
