The wiring diagram is a 2cm thick book.

Not a problem and a heli tech sounds like you should know what you are doing and by following the instructions you should be allright doing it yourself

I installed the disarm-arm only and it unlocks-locks the doors and arms the alarm.
My output from my starter box is - and the car is -.
Just curious, does one send a bigger pulse then the other to be able to recognize wich one has been activated?

just a little confused by what you mean with the 2 negatives? do you meanlike grounded while running or like - door locks and negative output on the alarm? The lock system uses one wire for both unlock and lock in the drivers kick if i am not mistaken it is considered a 2 pulse wire i think they call it

For my '08 the wiring manual was around $140, workshop manual about $200 including taxes.

Head over to http://www.the12volt.com
They have a list of all the hook up for alarms, as well as instructions for using relays to switch between positive and negative triggers
