Guys,

My battery is completely dead. No dash lights and it won't turn over. I got a boost last night and struggled to put the car in the driveway (dash lights were flickering, warning lights lit up like a Christmas tree, and power steering was going in and out, HIDs flickering like mad).

I tried to charge the battery overnight (10 hour - 10A). Went to crank it this morning, nada.

So I need a new battery. What's the best/cheapest place to get a Optima Red Top?

I know Oakville Mazda is selling them for cheap but I am over 50km away from them. Wallmart has them for $200+tax (I think).

Yes, it could be my alternator as well, I will know after I put in the new battery. One thing at a time.

Red.

I think Peter can get them. Not sure of the price though.

I just bought a new red top. If you want my old OEM battery shoot me a PM. It's just sitting in my garage.

Thanks for all the offers guys. I found a local guy here in Brampton who is selling the Yellow and Red Tops for $200 cash, brand new. Picking one up this afternoon.

Cheers!

Thanks for the offer man, but I decided I need a reliable battery for the car (commute from NY to Btown everyday). Picked up a Yellow Top (D34). Hell, I spend more than that on other car mods.
