Can anyone comment on their experience with the Sirius Traffic info in the Toronto area? It is any good?

I have a Garmin Nuvi 760 with ClearChannel traffic info... and it sucks. Inaccurate, out of date, unreliable...useless. And generally speaking, the Garmin has issues with distinguishing collector lanes and express lanes.

I was hoping the Sirius traffic data would be better... particularly the real-time flow info which apparently is available in Toronto according to the Sirius website (http://www.sirius.com/wi/i/plans/traffic/trafficfaq5.html#cov1).

Coverage seems wide enough...

Well, obviously the OP wants instant access to the traffic report. That's why they are looking at this service. Telling someone to just rely on the radio isn't going to help them at all. They obviously know about it, they want something more/better.

Relying on the radio when there is instant access to traffic reports is like not bothering with the Internet for information because the library has tons of books or your newspaper is delivered to your door every morning.. Totally not the same thing.

like I said... google maps is accurate/updated enough... all you need is a phone/service that can do it!

actually, I dunno when this was implemented but I only started to notice it on the iphone...it's a great feature, but this whole "handsfree" law kinda kills the use of it unless your iPhone is properly mounted.

Plus you want something that will continue working if you drive out of cell range. I mean, with the iPhone (and maybe the BB's?) you, can do offline maps... But there are tons of other navigation solutions out there for the iPhone (There are 3-4 big guys, I know at least one of which supports or plans to support traffic updates).

Well unless this info is out of date or I am missing something entirely on the car, Sirius Traffic is simply not available on the 2010 Mazda3 according to this:
