Did anyone watch/stop BREATHING from last night's finale. I'll admit that it was a little weak up until about the last 20 mins. BUT HOLY M'FER... daaaaaaaaaaamn Trinity mind ***ked Dexter last night fo sho!!!!

I knew something was bound to happen. It was just too perfect and fell into place too nicely. As soon as the voicemail said I forgot my passport (or whatever it was) circled back and there was a nice little surprise waiting for her.

it was quite an interesting finale.

it does leave some interesting stuff for the start of next season

1. how can he have the kids . . . i guess he will hire a nanny or smtg or leave town . .
2. I think Deb will have to put it together . . . maybe Dex will flee and it will be a hunt to catch dexter next season?

that i would like, i can't wait until he is the hunted one . . though i know that will be the end of the show

Dexter is one of the best shows on tv. What a great season. Last night's episode ended alot differently than the last one.

Whoever Dexter puts on that table next year is going to feel his pain for sure!

personally I think this is what'll happen next season. Deb and Quinn are gonna be weirded out by Dexter being in the garage, especially without his vest. Then Rita is dead.... hmm. What's Dexter's alibi for where he was. I think some sort of plot will come about where they might hold Dexter accountable as a suspect. He's seen how Trinity works and his past outburts aren't helping his cause. PLUS he knows she cheated.. all the makings of a loose canon ready to explode. PLUS how the hell will he explain his Kyle persona?? The family will have to say SOMETHING.

So Quinn is gonna be the new Doakes next season? lol. Last night was insanse, by far one of my favourite season finales. Kudos to Lithgow for playing such an intriguing character, it's awesome to see how an actor like him can go from being a comedian to a homicidal maniac. Can't wait 'till next season!!

relieved to find out that dexter ended trinity's path of misery, however just sadden that rita had to go, tho... that's what makes the story stronger.

it's so ironic because dexter keeps on defending his inner dark passenger and claiming that he wouldn't turn out like trinity and not ruin his family like he did. but looking at trinity for dexter is like looking at the mirror. he saw his own image of destruction that just started. very good writing for the show, i have to applaud.

so what is next for the kids and Harrison? Quinn is always questioning Dexter's where abouts, Deb is getting closer and closer to Dexter's truth, and the mess he left behind being Kyle Butler. Dexter's situation seems really unstable. there's a lot for him to clean up.

The past season's finale were filled with closures and happy ending and this one is definitely a cliff hanger.

He's definitely getting erratic with his behaviour. Very sloppy!!

After watching the pilot, I was hooked. I've enjoyed every single episode so far. The final scene was terrific. I'm glad the writers didn't end the episode after Trinity was killed off. The final minutes of the episode were too pretty and too clean. Rita was getting old anyways. Time for Dexter to run around like Tiger.

Just watched the finale....wow...I definitely did not see that coming! I did have this odd idea that Dexter would let Arthur go...and not kill him, because they were discussing that Dexter could never change, could never live without his "dark passenger".

But I know it would've been also weird if he let Arthur go, it's just not part of Dexter's code. His code states that nobody can live knowing the truth about him.

Fantastic season, fantastic finale.
