Just wondering if it's common to have the oxygen sensor replaced ? My check engine light went on and after further analysis by my mechanic that was the cause if the problem ! He told me it's pretty common fir these mazdas ?

really a CAI would do that? but i thought after the install disconnect/reconnect the negative terminal forces the system to relearn the proper mix

doubt it. I'm completely stock, and had the primary O2 sensor die at 105k km.

and nothing but trouble
stick with the OEM or NTK which isn't a lot cheaper than OEM

I've been running a Denso and haven't had many problems since installing it.

Mine crapped out after 122k. Car is much happier now that it's been replaced (did it at the dealer, who was reasonable about it!)
