- Generally most rust proofing establishments will say Spring or Fall. I do mine in the fall.

In SK we don't do any rust proofing. Never had a problem in all my (to) many years of driving.

If SK as in Saskatchewan, u guys don't use salt on your roads as much as they do here in Ontario. Salt and moisture is a brutal combination = rust

most amount of heat is better to get vehicle rustproofed, so that would make summer best time because it will be most efficient.

our 3's are prone to rusting. I hear 2010's are starting to already

Saskatchewan uses salt and plenty of it. But, since its below -30 for much of the winter the salt can't melt. So the roads remain frozen.

My 2010 isn't rusting....granted I've had it Krowned in the late summer/early fall. Warm enough to let the oil move around.
