Not sure where to put this so will try here first.
Shopping for a new vehicle, non Mazda. Went to 3 dealers and each want me to buy nitrogen in the tires and vin etching on panels-glass.
All said it was the dealers policy to add these to their cars and must be paid. Well thats what they say until the negotiating starts where the buyer can say no. One dealer wanted $500 for the etching and nitrogen another $500 just for the etching and another $150 for just the etching.
Why do these dumb a**es think someone will pay for it? Its not like it comes from the factory and if it does it should be on the sticker price list I am sure some will like to have these features but let us decide if we want it or not, not shoved down our throats. If nitrogen is put in place of air in the tires how do they get all the air out, require a vacuum to expel the air, keep the tire from breaking away from the rim. Besides air is 78% nitrogen. How would we check if there really is nitrogen in the tires? remove some and have it tested? give me a break.
