i ve been there before .. I dont really like their sales staff .

I actually bought my mazda 3 at downsview for a very low price compare to the market value ... I cant really complaint about the car , it has been good so far except for some regular maintanence but nothing major ...

However I would highly recommend to bring a mechanic or someone who knows cars to check it out before buying it ... That is if you want to save up some money or you can just pay the dealer price which most likely be a few thousands more..

Next car i buy it will be through a private sale , you ll end up saving a lot in taxes and i think regular people are more honest than dealers ..

Is that the place that does not allow test drives on the street but only in the parking lot?...A friend of mine went to look at a car on chesswood and she was with her dad and the guy told her that she could only take a test drive in the parking lot...she ended up getting her 3 from Erinwood Ford.

There are deals to be had there, but very very thorough with checking the car out. Go in the middle of the day (look for mis matching panels, bumpers etc.) I was hasty buying my 3 there and missed some things that would have guided me to buying a car elsewhere. If you do decide on a car, make a conditional deposit on the results of a check over by a mechanic of your choosing, personally I'd pick a mazda dealer. I got my 05 mz3 gt with all options and 74k for $10.3k which was below market value. So far problems I've noticed aren't major, but just annoying. They are very pushy with test drives, they will run through the numbers with you and then take you on a circle around the block. Make them take it on the highway or at least a road where you can get some decent speed, it would have led me to catch a couple things.

If you can, bring someone with you that knows mz3 and knows what to look for.

I agree with luffy.

Bought my MZ3GT there a year and a half ago. It was loaded and had low KM's. I took it to the Mazda dealer and had it checked out. They caught some things but not all. Make sure you look the car over very carefully.
Mine ended having paint issues as there was some work done to the rear bumper. This was not caught and I didn't catch it either. If you can get a car with still some factory warranty left it is the best. I had the warranty transfered to me and ended up having $3000+ work done for free because of the rust. Other than that I have been really happy with the car.

They seemed a little steep to me.

I will tell you this, I bought an 04 civic SI from them, they told me everything was cool with it, I just traded it in for a 2010 mazda 3 and found out it had to major accidents with repairs totalling over $13000, so beware.

Went there to check out some 3s during the summer, they looked pretty rusty to me... the employees just stare at you and don't come up to greet you what so ever. Didn't go back after that

When I was looking to buy a Mazda 3, I saw some online from them. I called to ask about one of the 3 GT hatches they had, and asked specifically if any body work had been done because the pics sort of looked like the front oassenger quarter was not lined up properly. He assured me no accidents, everything was perfect.

Well, left work, drove close to an hour to get there, and sure as $h1t, neither the hood, fender, headlight, bumper or grill matched up on the front passenger quarter. Paint work was obvious.

When I told the guy that I was the one that had called about the car asking if it was in an accident, and that I wasn't interested in any car with body work, he tried to convince me that he legally doesnt have to tell me about the work, and that crashing your car into your garage as you back it out isn't an accident.... *shrug* I don't know what you would call it then.. A purpose?

Either way, I kept telling him I didn't care, I wasn't interested.

When he finally stopped talking I upped and left to never return.

I would highly recommend staying away. They will tell you anything to sell a vehicle.
