Heated seat switches from 2010 in 2007?

I'm just wondering if anyone has access to info that can confirm or rule out the possibility of using the Dial-type heated seat controls from a 2010 Mz3 in a 2007?

I just saw the switches in a showroom model today and I want 'em. I've also been contemplating trying to mod a set of VW dials, but if there is a way to keep my car fully Japanese, then i want to go that way first.

I thought about it also but I haven't looked into the wiring part of it... but the switches physically will NOT fit... they are much bigger
