If you blew 2005 your 2.3, would it be possible to put a 2.5 from a 2010.
I am pretty sure that it would fit, maybe some custom half shafts. But what about the computer, could you use two in the car. One for engine control and the other for the rest of the car function, or would be easier to transplant the entire electrical system from a 2010.

why would anything custom be necessary to fit the engine? its PHYSICALLY the same on the outside
you only have to worry about engine management
