I'm new to HID and want to know which is the best kit to get (slim, regular, Xenon, etc.) I like the 6000K light spectrum but not sure about which kit to get.

6000k from THL is a different colour than other kits, FYI. If you want bluish lights don't get the 6000k bulbs from THL because it's close to 4300-5000k. I have the prolumen regular ballasts and went from the prolumen 6000k bulbs to THL 6000k. The light output is better with THL's, but like I said, if you want blue get something that is 6000k from someone else or choose a higher temp from THL.

As for ballasts I would suggest, as CWP did, that you search; look for installs and try to decide where you want to locate your ballasts. If you need to tuck them in some place tight then consider the slim ones. I have regular size ballasts mounted behind my headlights (low beams); and mounted to the frame rails (fogs).
