Day time running lights

Hey there,

just got back from the land rover dealer after a service under warranty, and the land rover dealer made my headlights stay on all the time( original NY vehicle import). They told me that its illegal not to have day times on, but those idiots made it so the nights that are on at night ( the bright white ones) are on at all times! the only way for them to go off is at night!

so after driving back to oakville from Hamilton, as my dad did not like it( its his car) they told me they cant change it back and basically kicked me out!

does anyone know how to disable these lights from going on ? its a 2008 range rover sport s/c

im pretty sure the DRL on the range rovers are the hid's, correct me if im wrong. aslong as the interior cluster lights are not set to night time mode, and ur front/rear parking lights aint on u should be ok. if ur not happy im pretty sure it can be an easy fix. maby there a DRL fuse u can take out from the fuse box i unno check the manual.

i dont think there the HID's as now from the switch to turn the lights on/off/auto the lights all stay the same.. only thing i can turn on and off is the fog lights.
