Just curious who owns the blue hatchback with a shark fin... Heard Jimmy backing up your car today and the engine sounds like it's TOAST! What happened??

Haha..that would be me. Spun a bearing last night...haven't had the car even 2 1/2 months. Ughhh....see my thread here --> Blown Engine (http://www.torontomazda3.ca/forum/showthread.php?41590-Diagnose-this-sound!)

Got the new engine ordered up..should be at Jimmy's by Thursday or Friday.

Bahhhh.........

What were you at Jimmy's for? :O

Jesus dude, sorry to hear about your troubles. I just read your thread... At least you got it resolved quickly. =)

I was just in to get my front sway bar looked at.

At least when it's all done, you will have a like-new car... =)

Haha...yah, it sucks big time but like you said, when I'm done I should have a nearly new car :P Paint job got messed up from towing though so I'm in the process of dealing with CAA. Wouldn't mind a respray of my hood and roof - got a lot of little touchups from stonechips.

As far as getting it resolved quickly...I'm not one to let things like this sit. As quickly as I can make a reasonable, well-informed and financially sound decision, I'll do it. I'm just 'lucky' (if you can call it that) that this happened during reading week.

What was the issue with your front sway bar?

CAA damaged the roof of my truck pretty bad when they towed it, they covered it though took about a week and a half to get it all sorted out.

How did CAA damage your stuff (both of you guys). I've been pretty lucky with them... Although I haven't had to use them since I got my Mazda *knock on wood*

My front sway bar is rattling... The clearance on it is too tight. I gotta contact Cobb and see what they say... It almost seems like a bad design (But I'm not the only one using this sway bar, so I dunno)

The only thing that could've/would've done it is the cables for the brake lights they attach to the roof. Those are some heavy duty cables and they just get whipped around not to mention they're not exactly paint friendly to begin with. Hood is a bit of a mess and roof I have to look at in more detail when I get back to Jimmy's.
As for the sway bar...that seems kind of weird. Lemon bar?

Dave, what did they pay for? Repairs? Paint? Anything else? They seemed pretty understanding on the phone and I should here back within 48hours they said.
