Stock Air Intake Question

I'm selling my stock air intake, and a guy has asked me if it would fit in an 2008, mine is an 2009, I would assume they are identical, can anyone who know's shed some light on this if they know, Thanks!

highly doubtful, as mazdaspeed sells a warrantied intake...and if your maf sensor and vac lines are connected properly then its fine.

i know at the dealership i work at intakes never raise a stink.

There is no issues with my dealership, I have had my car in many times for sercive including having the intake maifold replaced (under waranty), and they know its there and they dont care. I think as long as its a manufactuer and not some some home job or "bob's" CAI then you are good - They have been designed and meant for that car, that application.

As far as my original question....would the stock 09 intake fit on an 08? are they the same configuration, same bolt locations etc?
