I think so. But I think it is just for looks...

Yes. for looks only obviously. It does sound nicer than the first gen GT though, I have to give it that.

I knew it was for look only, but once I started to drive mine, I could tell that it has a much better sound. My wife as a GX and I didn't know how of the sound had to do with the difference in engine or the dual pipes.

Some of it is due to the 2 different engines, they have different intake etc etc. 2.5 does sound pretty awesome stock.

I mean, I did downgrade from an inline 6 (NOTHING sounds as good as an inline 6), but I think Hondas sound better.

Yes, I know what I just said... I shall be cast out as a heretic for saying the Hondas sound better, but they do!

i notice that after my car has been driven for a while and i run into the bank or something....and quickly come back out and start my car up again she puurrrs beautifuly. Not infiniti purr but...i mean pretty nice.

hondas sound better.. nothing better than waking up to a 16 year old kid driving the crap out of his 91 civic in front of your house with a huge fart pipe... prob the only reason i dont like honda as much lol
