Funny things you experience while waiting, or going for the green (Traffic lights)

This evening I was just chilling waiting for the lights, and a beat up civic with green rims was blasting his music. Didnt phase me since I was blasting "Forget about Dre" I did however notice a black unmarked car behind him. When it finally turned green I heard him floor his 4 banger , but noticed the sound died and see his tailights on... He then seem to have stalled and the car behind him started slowing down... didnt see the cherries, but was a funny site to see.

I didnt even think it was a cop there was passengers in it....

A few years back, a few friends and I were cruising in our cars (I had my modded altima at the time), when we stopped at a light in Sauga. Some busted up civic pulled up next to me at the red light and started revving, billowing out huge plumes of black/blue smoke...

Fine, it wasn't the first time someone did that. Then he started rolling back a little (a common trait to manual cars, for those who don't know), and zooming forward a little - all while trying to lock eyes with me. Without actual intent on racing (ie. normal daily driving), I slowly inched past his car. Numb nuts decides to eventually fly past me and try to do a handbrake-drift around a corner, only to have the cherries come on :chuckle

The funniest part though, is that my buddies told me afterwards, that since they were behind this guy, they saw him (via reverse lights) going into reverse everytime he rolled back at the lights :chuckle

i was stopped behind a civic (yah civic again...) late at night, at a intersection with a red-light camera. the light was red for us and he was right at the white line. the guy kept inching up past the white line, as if he was trying to race someone, then bright flashes from the red-light kept going off (taking his picture). lol

speaking of funny, i have a buddy who drives a 07 civic auto but drives and taps on the brakes gently so the car jerks a little to feel like hes driving manual

There is nice looking Honda and Acura rides in our area (I know some of them), its just seeing the ones that are "what are you thinking???" rice mods I laugh waiting at the lights.
