So after I got my windows tinted, I realized I should have gone to audio heaven.

The rear tint on my 2010 GT sport has lines of air surrounding each defrost line. Since putting on the tint driving at night has glare from headlights behind me. Talked to a few different places and they all said the lines are normal because of the raised defrost bars. But....was at the dealer the other day and saw a tint job that was 100% flush.

Should I just wait longer (tint only 4 days old) or did I have a bum job done? Are the air lines responsible for the glare or is that inevitable. HELP!

I don't have the "air lines" on my rear tint. If they're there they'd have to be too small for me to notice. I don't understand what you mean by "glare from the headlights behind me."

take it in to audio heaven and get Jeffs opinion. hes been in the business for quite some time and knows the difference in quality. He is also very honest and informative.

each headlight of the cars behind me causes reflection on about 4 defrost bars above and below. I am guessing it's because of the bad tint. THey weren't there before the tine and weren't there on the past 2 mazdas i've had tinted. Very distracting. Anyone else have this issue?

got my car tinted yesterday at audio heaven, no glare issues at all and no air bubling on the defrosters. I was told to wait 7 days before analysing and pointing out issues, so give it three more days and look at it then. But if u want take it to audio heaven for a second opinion!

Did you turn on the defroster? Cuz I was told not to when I went to audio heaven, maybe that caused the bubbles

word to the wise. I spoke to the guys at audio heaven and they said the air on either side of the defrost bars aint right. Bad tinit job. I'm going to have AH do it up right. WE'll see how it goes.

I got my 09 3 sedan tinted from the dealer at time of purchase. I had these lines from the get go. I guess it's not normal? lol

It's been one week to the day since I got the back sheild re-tinted at audio heaven. Right after the tint was on, it looked flush. Slowly the lines started coming back, and so did the glare. I've been peeking at a lot of 2010 3's with tint. Almost all have the lines. As for the glare: maybe I'm just anal. Oh well, cost me 80 bucks to know for sure. Suppose I'll learn to live with it.
