Hey guys,
So this isn't the spun bearing ticking like last time. This sound is like something clawing at a wall/door or like something might be stuck under the car (which it's not). For some reason I keep thinking of coat hangers too when I hear the sounds.
Anyways, it only happens when a gear is at least partially engaged. Letting the clutch off into first I hear the sounds and whenever I'm driving and give it throttle after having my foot off the gas I also hear it. I'm not sure if it's happening after I've had my foot on the gas for a while because my car is too loud but I've tried very hard to listen and I can't seem to hear anything.
All of this leads me to believe that it might be the things on the clutch (I forget the proper term) circled here:

This doesn't sound nor feel like a 'grinding clutch' and it still grabs strong in the '5th gear test' with no signs of slippage. This is my first standard car but I've already driven 8k with it and I make sure to take it easy on the transmission/clutch.
Any ideas?
