Has anyone seen a how-to on removing the dash? The piece i want off is the center part of the front dash. The piece that has the front vents in it. Does anyone know how I can remove that part?
thnx

Remove the dash strip.
Pull on the right side of the headunit, you'll feel a small notch you can get two figures into. Pull straight towards the back of the car until the clips are released.
The far right side is held in with a hook, where the rest of the strips is by three pressure clips. One on the far left, and two above the glove box.
Then unscrew the two phillips screws at the bottom, just above the headunit. Lift gently from the bottom of the center piece but pull the whole thing towards the rear of the car. There are 2 guides that need to come out straight, will take a little force but not alot. 2 pressure clips is what holds it on. Once it's off, it'll make alot more sense.
Don't pull away, you'll have to disconnect the hazard button wiring. Push on the tab with your thumb and wiggle it off.
Install, opposite of removal.

Here's a good guide which gives you pictures to go along with what Gizzmo has posted:

I think you can disassemble most of the rest of the dash from this point, except for the piece right up against the windscreen.
Edit: If you're talking about the instrument cluster though, I'm not sure about that bit...some people here have done it.
