Hello all,

Wondering if anyone can share their experience with prokit on stock shocks in terms of durability / longevity.

Thanks!

I've been on prokits for about a year now without an issue on stock shocks and struts. As long as you use common sense when driving over things you shouldn't have any problems.

if you have a 2010 it would probably last pretty long since ur shocks are basically new... lol

But ive seen a member on prokit with stock shocks for 2years, his front shock got pooched(as well as most lowering springs would mostly like to kill stock shocks over time slowly...)

People, if you want to do things right. Swap the stock shocks and struts right away. I've had my car for 6 years with 144k and about 115k-/+ on the Eibach springs with stock shocks. The front struts are now toast as well as the strut mount which allows the strut assembly to rotote. Either you pay now or later. This is the case for me. ;(

Shocks and struts are a wear item, they will eventually fail even if used with stock springs.

I ran 40K with Prokit's and stock shocks, as well as 30K with stock springs and stock shocks. That 40K includes about two dozen autocrosses, several driving schools, and several lapping days. They were still perfectly fine when removed.
