Hi to all,
I'm new to this forum and what I've read so far has been really good :)

OK, so I'm changing my plugs and notice that 2 of 4 plugs are almost dripping with fresh oil - not coked. Haven't noticed any signs of blown head gasket and engine seems to be running OK.
Any ideas?
BTW I was doing this to get rid of my rough idle, but after reading the info on the forum, I'm going after cleaning of the TB and possibly changing the purge valve (cause my 2.3 also sounds like a sewing machine at times!).

sounds like your valve cover gasket is leaking... that'll leak oil into the spark plug holes and cause misfiring

Did you by any chance have the oil changed recently? Were the two plugs covered in oil close to the fill hole? It is really easy to spill oil there and it is certainly a possibility, especially since the oil appears to be fresh. Leaks like that don't just develop overnight and oil would be caked on. I’m just throwing it out there before you start panicking and changing gaskets.

Clean the plugs and holes and monitor for a few days.

Thanks for the replies, and yes I recently did an oil change which makes me think you're right on with the spillage thing! Took the plugs out again today and didn't see any signs of oil :).
I'm thinking the misfire/roughness at idle is something else since I've been getting this for a few months. Going to try cleaning the TB and see what I get.
