should i get a replica version of the AE front bumper and skirts for my hatch? i want to get the older version on the new one with the odd fog light placement, but i heard thathe old style is a big out dated, can i get more opinion?

Picture: Try to picture it in all black, or if anyone is good at photoshop, can you edit the picture to make the car all black? i was also thinking of getting the bottom part (black lip in the picture) painted a dark grey colour and same with the skirts.

Get the original. Looks very agressive especially in black.

ya i was planning on getting it from you but i just want to make sure i want it. Do you have any in your shop that i can try on to see if the style of the bumper goes with the rest of the car?

Dude, I think that in black would look real nice. I personally own a 05 Mazda 3 gt! So, our cars look are very similar ( it's a hatch). I'd look real mean if you had kit in black, with black rims and a red trim, around the rims.

Be very careful with any replica bumper covers, many of them require the reinforcement bar to be either cut out completely or modified extensively - which adds to the final install cost and could affect safety (if the re-bar must be cut out and you get into a collision your engine will have very little protection).

Before you order make sure the supplier outlines what is required for install, so you know what you're getting yourself into. There's many accurate replica covers out there, just make sure you don't have to sacrifice safety for looks!

And...

+1 - for the best possible result.
