Alright guys, first off I want to do some work on the car to make the car sound better.

It's a 2010 Mazda 3 gs with 2.0L engine.

So far I decided to go with Mazdaspeed muffler. I am not looking for any perf gain from this.. but sound. Any objections?

Also I need help deciding on a CAI/SRI that will work with 2010.

Any input will be appreciated. Thanks

I just installed the Ractive SRI in my '10 GT, and it sounds great. Peter has them for a special price right now at nextmod, you should check it out

Ractive sri - is the installation easy? Do u have a clip of how it sounds? Feel the difference?

johnygt - yeah. That's why I'm grabbing your muffler :D. So far I hear everyone saying it sounds great.

the installation itself literally took me (and this was my first SRI installation) around thirty minutes, and I dropped a socket in my engine bay right near the end so I spent another 45 minutes looking for it lol. Turns out it was harmless and it fell out on the road somewhere.

I don't have a sound clip but I can tell you it sounds great and you really feel a difference, especially in 3rd / 4th gear. Considering the price and ease of installation, it's a great first performance mod. And btw if you do end up buying it, don't use the metal bracket thing that comes with it, no one knows why they give it to you

Only thing im worried about it... how I don't see any other 2.0L enging drivers... with intake and exhaust.

Whenever I see a pic or hear a vid.. it's mostly 2.3 or 2.5. :(

I really hope mazdaspeed muffler sounds as good as they say on 2.0.
