Canadian Tire has it in Toronto. Try ordering from eshine.ca if you need delivery.

Try their website or call to confirm that it's still in stock, I saw it at warden And eglinton or mcowan and shepard. Also, if cdn tire has it then partsource will likely carry it as well.

thanks allot,

well i found the product, bought 2 bottles, cause i dont feel like traveling again that way.

my experience with it just wow..

did a test on my black range rover that was terribly maintained by the previous owner they had basically used a hard brush on the paint job, and the ultimate compound has moved nearly all of the scratches from the paint

great product !

What did you use to polish the LR, hand or machine (what machine?)?

did it by hand, was looking at getting at polisher but most are way to $$ here is quick picture not clear was taken from iphone but you should see the difference

these pics was just after a quick rub with it, no polish on top, looks much much better than before

That's a HUUUGE difference by hand..

Is this stuff body-shop-approved? (I.E. No fillers, no glaze, no oils?)--or is the RR's clear soft?

Something doesn't add up in my brain.

Ultimate Compound is truly one of the best products out there. Its one of the greatest and easiest cut compounds that you can use by hand or machine. It's results speak for themselves.
Its highly touted over at meguairsonline.com as one of the best in the consumer line of Meguairs Products.

M105 is more aggressive than Ultimate Compound.

M105 is in our Professional Line and primarily formulated and targeted at people using rotary buffers to remove sanding marks out of fresh paint in body shops. (Generally speaking, people in this industry have a high skill level for working with paint care products as they do this for a living).

Ultimate Compound is in our Consumer Line and primarily formulated and targeted at people using a DA Polisher or working by hand to restore a neglected finish on factory paint. (Generally speaking, in the Consumer market, the average person washes and waxes their car 2-4 times a year. Online enthusiasts that hang out on discussion forums and work on their car more often don't fall directly into this category as they know more and tend to have a higher skill level for working with paint care products).

And just to note, this subject has been brought up and discussed in one of these two threads,

To get great results by hand is truly amazing. A lot of stores should carry UC.

Sounded too good to be true. I had to research it:
http://www.autopia.org/forum/car-detailing/123042-megs-ultimate-compound-perfect-finish.html

FYI:
UC is a great product but should be followed up with an IPA wipedown because it has some type of waxy and oily base. Then follow with a good finishing polish for best results.

Still doesn't add up. Here, in the thread, I have pro detailers with all the machines and pads that we use, and yet some people couldn't finish it as well as that RR. YMMV-big time with this product. Never detailed a RR, nevermind a BLACK one, but I'm guessing between the oils of the product, and a soft clear (Are you certain that your RR hasn't been repainted?), a 'relatively' defect-free finish is possible.

That said, it should be a good product for all of ya'll non-crazies. Just don't expect to duplicate the OP's result on every car--especially by hand.

OKay, i will clear something up, the pictures are not really what i call perfect, it makes the car look better than it is.

after using the compound there are still scratches on the car. i would say it got rid of 80-90% of scratches, ill follow up with more pictures when i do the complete job this weekend.

but not bad for a 9.99 product, and after i polish, wax im sure it will look great

you can never get a even cut by hand across a panel of a car. the best bet is to use a DA buffer or Rotary if your that skilled.

Yup, echoing Mlochab, don't stress yourself. You already surprise me by getting so much correction by hand. Did you buff hard at all? With what type of medium? (Microfiber towel, terry cloth, ...xxx?)
