So, I was headin out to go for wings at Allstar's nearby and noticed low visibility on the ground and I'm like "wtf....are my headlights that dirty?" lol then I parked at Allstar wings and what do you know........my headlights are not working.
So I'm not a car guy by any means but a buddy of mine is thinking I might have blown a fuse. Any other case?
Also, the inside fuse box, where is that located? I found the one under the hood...
This is all great timing as I just found today I got a nail in my tire as well :flaming
Any insight would be GREATLY appreciated.

The inside fuse box is located underneath the glove box. So go to your passenger side, and look under, you will see a black cover with 2 knobs or something that you turn and the black part comes off. Then you will see a white plastc block. Somewhere there, there is a lock that holds it in place, you have to turn it to the open part and the white block will flip down revealing the fuses. You have to look at your manual to see which one is which though.
Good luck. Im thinking its just a fuse too. But did you do anything recently that may have caused the fuse to blow?

There's been the rare time (maybe 3 or 4 times max) that I've started up my car and my headlights would just not turn on no matter what (my headlights and DRLs are the same - aftermarket HIDs). After I let the car sit a bit they tend to turn on no problem. I never figured out what it was but it's happened so rarely (2 of those 3 or 4 times were on the same day) in the 4 1/2 months I've had the car that until it becomes anything more than just a 'spook in the electrical system' I'm not going to bother with it.
I'll keep an eye on this thread to see what you discover.

I shall report back later today...maybe it is a little "random" occurrence.

Okay, inside fuse = good to go and connection seems to be good/grounds r good. I'm gonna try pluggin the stock bulb to the stock harness...what are chances both ballasts blew? Sorry I'm on my berry.
Just fixed my nail in tire.

Okay so I plugged in a bulb into stock harness............I'm starting to think that both ballasts = fried

assuming you used a relay can you hear that clicking on and off when you hit the light switch? disconect the bulbs from the ballasts and you should hear a Buzzing noise (but really short and quick) If you dont hear that then there is either a problem with the wiring or the ballasts are both dead. If you do hear buzzing then the bulbs are more then likely fried

It could also be your actual light switch stalk/arm. I've had this part go on two of my previous vehicles over the years.

Okay, so I did a bulb test with a buddy's kit, and bulb lit up no problem. Relay is still firing as when I turn on headlight I hear the click.
I'm pretty much convinced now its the ballasts....until replaced, no night time driving for me :(
