Oh... I can't post pictures yet..... sigh....
It's a 2 pin square gray color female connector, located on the top of the radiator, on the right hand side (while you face your engine bay), hmm... just behind a yellow sticker.

sounds to me like thats where your hood sensor should go. That will only be present on vehicles with factory installed alarm systems though

It's where you connect the death ray device so that you can zap the fart pipe off of Civics.
Actually it's a diagnostic port.

seeing the pictures yes it is for the hood sensor if the car is equipped with the factory alarm
YepYep- if I remember correctly alarm was a option on the gs and standard on the gt and not available on the gx

I don't know... maybe they think they need more money to remove this connector from the GX model... mine have a 4AT, so it should be a 2.0 GX... but I didn't remove the engine cover to verify this yet...

Supplied only by Mars dealer for MAD $.99 only. But need to be installed on the right side of you Mazilla use to clear the walkway only... don't install on the left side, rear side, top or under your Mazilla, this will void the factory warranty...

if you have clear tail lights then you have a gt with a 2.3. That connector does not sit under the engine cover it sits on the rad support

but 2.3GT should be 5AT.
hoho... removing engine cover is just for seeing the 2.0 or 2.3 on it ( I think it should be some mark indicating the engine size....)
