I'm up doing a paper, and 15 minutes ago I heard a loud BANG almost like rocks hitting the front of my house.. I go outside to see my garage door and car totally wiped in Paint, coming from Paintball shells... can't really do much now, but in the morning, I will!

lol.... should have gotten that stuff off the car IMMEDIATELY!!! I used to work at a paintball field and have taken part in many paintball tournaments. I've seen what paint can do to a car's finish in a few hours. Letting it sit overnight is begging for trouble.

For the record: Paintball "paint" doesn't dry. It's not even paint! It's glycerin based with food-grade products. If it had a label on it you'd find it's much like cough syrup :)

the paint will come off, it's more like a water based, the only little problem that i encountered is the paintball shell within the groves.

I'm going to go to the coin op and power wash that crap off.

Sucks bro.. good news is paintball paint is biodegradable and can be washed by water very easy. I left mine covered in paintballs for a couple days ... looks like bird shit after a while lmao.

The plate covers are a small detail, and more obvious things would be noticed first. If you are certain it was a member, call it out. Why would people up the street tell me this than Ami? They said noticed the plate cover and told me in person that it's very identical to the one I have on. You're telling me to call the member out? if I knew who the member was exactly, than I wouldn't need to start this thread now would I? I have no problems calling people out, but I don't know who exactly the memeber was, if i got people telling me that the plate cover is very identical to what I have on, what does that show? Do you keep track of who has the plate covers? Do you know who does stupid shit on these forums? If I knew exactly who it was Ami, I would be talking to them myself. Is the TM3 Community going to do something about it? No.

If it is a member, let's hope they are as dumb as the guys who stole my dad's CTS rims a few years back. I posted an ad looking for a set of CTS sport rims a week after, got a response, and wound up finding his rims and the other 8 sets they stole! The police were dumbfounded at how dumb the theifs were.

So check out that classified section...maybe someone's selling apaintball gun!!

Thats almost like when they tried to steal my dads 540 rims. the mistake they did was jack up the car which set the alarm off. Came outside the next morning and all the bolts were on the ground and the rims were being held on by the hubs lol. BMW's and most european manufacturers do not have wheel bolts as they are ste stud and bolt in one

have you filed a police report? I thought you had an idea who the member was because of the seeming sarcasm in your first post. You put in a smiley face, which to me says I think I know who did this, but I am not going to say so directly. If you said who you suspected and why, perhaps the community would do something. You never know.

Anyhow, this thread has degenerated into arguments, and off topic discussions. Nothing left for anyone to add, so I am going to lock. If you want to add more details, and asks the membership to identify the member in question, let myself or another mod know, and we can open the thread again.
