I need serious help with my headlight system!

Ok so i have a US mazda 3 gt, when it was brought here by someone else they had a daytime running light module put in and who every put it in did one hell of a SHITTY job. They hooked everything up to make my fogs my day time running lights (which was fine) untill yesterday when i go to lock my car and the fogs will not shut off. Normally they shut off after you lock the car....So i messed around with it a bit and thought it was something i hit inside the car but its not. So i tapped the daytime running light module and the lights flickered off and on and then they just stayed on. Soooooo my final option was to cut the wire giving the module power so that my battery does not die.

So my question is.....does anyone know how to hook up my day time running lights to my headlights (like they are supposed to be) and then hook my fogs up to my fog light switch inside my car properly? If anyone can help i will pay you money! lol i need to get this fixed!

He should be able to help you out. Most people want to have fogs as DRLs, but we also want to be able to shut them off.

I have my fogs hooked up to run as DRLs for my car. But I can turn them off with the switch on my turn signal switch.

I got the same set up as yours, so far i have no problem, it's been 2 yrs and still working fine. Im available this saturday LMK, im located at morningside ave. (scarborough)
