I just want to know cuz i havnt looked at other peoples mazdas. wen i lock my car at night, i notice the inside of the gauges have that blue light still on, the one that goes around the outer rim. is that normal or not? reason im asking is cuz i dont want it to drain my battery!

Yep, i think it's normal, mine does the same thing, but eventually turns off after 30 seconds or so i think

Think it's like 3 secounds then it goes off.

Yeah, it's definately less than 30 seconds until it fades off.... You may just not be patient enough :) But to answer your other question a couple of blue LED's aren't going to drain your car's battery, they barely take any power to run.

+1.... that's the whole point of LED's... to replace stock bulbs, where applicable. LED's offer comparable light output, yet require far less power to run.
