An Australian publisher has had to pulp and reprint a cook-book after one recipe listed "salt and freshly ground black people" instead of black pepper.
"We're mortified that this has become an issue of any kind, and why anyone would be offended, we don't know," head of publishing Bob Sessions is quoted as saying by the Sydney newspaper.
No, I can't see why anyone would be offended :bang

Yah...why would anyone be offended? I used ground black people in my cooking all the time. It's what keeps people coming back for more. /s
Seriously...that man is the head of publishing? No wonder mistakes like that get made.

I agree.. People need to grow up. Especially the black ones. Sure, blame all the white people for slavery, it was actually black people in Africa capturing other black people to sell to us whiteys. Hypocrites never get the story right, only the parts they want to believe.

It's a demographic. They're easily offended and the American sect finds it necessary to file lawsuits over incidents like these.

Theres nothing better than some good ground up black people. But for my sauces and whatnot I like the freshly ground whites, that way you don't see little black flakes.

Unless it's dark gravy...No wonder dark gravy tastes so good!
People will always get offended by stuff like this, whether right or wrong. The company caught it and is correcting it - can't ask for anything more than that. Simple but stupid mistake that anyone could've made with an auto-spellchecker.

Soylent Green (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soylent_Green) or Jeffrey Dahmer's 20 Minute Meals?
