After having my car for almost 6 months now, I was starting to get bored with the silver gray interior trim. I started hunting on-line for alternatives and landed on 3M Di-Noc. This carbon fibre like vinyl material looks like dry carbon and is flexible when heated. This stuff has been used to completly wrap a S2000 Track car...

Last week I bought a few square feet from eBay. I got the package and tackled a few pieces.

This is what the trim looks like un-touched... Random Google image

And this is what it looks like wrapped in 3M Di-Noc. I didn't take any during pics... only after...

After a few days with only the 2 dash trim pieces, I had time to do the silver pieces on the door panels.

I might also attempt the gray areas on the centre console.

Let me know what you guys think.

Looks good so far. I would suggest leaving the centre console alone. Too much Vinyl, and it looks way over done.

Not too shabby. Decorative stuff like that there's no real gain with real stuff, and the vinyl looks great.

That looks great! But I agree S.F.W. you definately don't want to over do it. How much did that vinyl stuff cost you per metre or square ft or whatever? Because I am now seriously considering it!

Looks ok in small doses, but on the track car... no thanks. Way too much fake CF for my liking.

Thanks for the comments guys! It's not too complicated to put on, but it is very time consuming. I worked with a hair blower, my hands and lots of patience...

Looks really good!... How did you remove that piece? and was it hard to wrap around the ashtray door?

i found a good thread on here that explained how to take apart the centre console...which was super easy, the cupholder comes out like nothing and then the piece i wrapped needs a little more convincing...it really wasnt that hard at all....i just laid one big peice of vynal on top of the silver peice and then cut out the door over the ashtray...this was the first peice i did in my car, ive since wrapped the other silver trim peices...after having alot more time working wit the material id love to wrap this big peice again just to get rid of some of the little imperfections that no one can see but i know they are there so they bother me lol
