Tune is stuck in my head, heard it at a country bar a few weeks ago...and I know I've heard it before but can't think of what the title is. It's sort of upbeat irish kind of jig thing...the words aren't the clearest to make out but from what I remember a line of it is "them johnny (jolly?) boys they always lead (round?) the way"

Definitely the sort of song that would get people up and dancing and clapping their hands.

Help?

take those words you have into google and at the end type in "lyrics" thats who i usually find songs when i dont know the name or artist. doesnt always work if you dont have enough words or the right ones lol.

Also try Amazon in the music section. Found many songs by words from the lyrics on there.

Don't be dissin' country. It's not my favourite style of music but it has it's good songs. Check this one out, it's great:

I do have it, but at the time it wasn't a big deal...it was weeks later when it popped into my head again.

When this happens to me and I absolutely MUST have the song, I usually go to different radio websites (eg if it was alternative/rock I go to the edge and check out the Thursday 30 countdown, if it's pop/hip hop whatever I go to z103) Another option is checking out the American and Canadian top 40 websites too... and just youtube the titles for a quick check.

EDIT: just saw it was a country song... hahaha that might be harder to find :P

mazdabetty - it's an older song though, so not on the charts right now.

Was it on the radio at the bar? Or was it the bar's music. If it was the bar playing the music and you really want to know what it is, try phoning the bar and ask. Often they have a bunch of compilations burned to CD and they cycle through the discs.

Was a live band playing the song, but I know it's a cover and not something original. I can't even remember which night or what band was playing or anything :(

And no, it's not whiskey in the jar.
