I'm confused as to what filter size I should buy for a replacement. I want to get a AEM Dry Flow but if I look up the MS3 on AEM's site the fitler they supply with their AEM MS3 intake is very long in size compared to the 2 filters I got with my MS CAI (it was bought used)

AEM suggests this is the replacement filter

seems alot larger then the one i have now. Am I running the wrong filter? Or is the one I have the one which would have come from Mazda (it's unbranded).

The one I have looks more like this style

I searched the forums and found a Mazda part number for a replacement filter for the MS CAI, but I'd rather not buy the filter from Mazda and just order one from one of our sponsors.

Why not just get it from one of our affiliate dealers? You get a discount.

I just thought it might be cheaper from a sponsor, I was also thinking of getting a pre-filter wrap for it.. dry charger.

I'm using both for my MS accessory CAI. Filter from Joe and I got a pre-filter for extra protection.

Ya I think having the pre-filter for the extra protection is worth it, plus it keeps all the medium/small debris from getting lodged in the filter.
