I've ran a search and can't seem to find any threads regarding cleaning this filter specifically. There are threads referencing Fujita's site "Cleaning the air filter is simple and can be done using soapy, lukewarm water, and let air dry." Seems simple enough, I just want to verify the process with anyone who has cleaned theirs already.

1. Remove filter from CAI;
2. Submerse the filter in a bucket of lukewarm soapy (would dishsoap do?) water, assuring water does not enter the neck of the filter;
3. Let it it soak for approx. 15min.;
4. Agitate to loosen dirt
5. Dump water and mix another batch of lukewarm soapy water and place the filter in for another 15min.
6. Agitate the filter again;
7. Dump water and fill bucket up with lukewarm water only, submerse the filter and agitate once again (I'm thinking this probably isn't necessary but would be good to remove excess soap);
8. Shake excess water off filter; and
9. Allow to air dry (how long does this usually take?)

Like I said, I've gone through a few threads and did a little googling and these are my findings. Can anyone verify so I'm not messing this up?

This should be fine and all you need to do.

How much are you saving though instead of just buying a new replacement filter?

I'm already running a new filter, just want to get this cleaned to switch them out come winter and keep them in a cycle. True enough, a new filter each time would be easier, but if I can save $65, why not right? That's just $65 more to another mod!
