I already have my M3 for more than a month, still have no idea about how to drive an auto-tranny VVT car. The VVT technology make me feel my car like having a 8 speed transmission. In the same gear shown, I am running with different rpm just like in different gears.
By my ex-experience, we can step on the gas, and then loose it a little bit to let the computer bring in the next gear or we can step on the gas harder to let the computer know you need more power and kick down the gear for you... but on the M3, because it has the VVT technology, the computer look too smart to deal with my needs. In result, sometimes I think it's too fast, but sometimes I think it's too slow.
