HI Guys,
I Just installed new side mount ...
I get lots of vibrations through the gas pedal is it normal ?
Or I messed up something ?
Engine sounds a loot deeper now ...
Thank You

Aftermarket mounts will definitely add vibrations. The vibes might settle down once the mount is worked in.
I noticed a significant increase in vibrations when I installed my AWR rear motor mount, especially when the AC is running.

For me, the whole car shook, but I installed the rear mount. Not sure about the side mount.

also keep in mind that the mount makes your engine and frame into 1, the engine vibrates and so will your frame

Oh yea .. I don't mind vibes I was just not sure if the vibes through gas pedal are normal or not :D
The vibes on gas pedal are when ... I accelerate from stop its for 2 seconds in low rpms ..
And there are vibes on steering wheel but I heard .. that its normal ...

I get/got vibes in the low RPMs...above that I still get it to an extent (usually when coasting or engine braking) but that's partly due to my Tranny Mount and also my ETD.
You're talking about the passenger side mount, correct? What mount did you buy?
I have a Street Unit Rear Motor Mount, TRZ Tranny Mount, NRG Engine Torque Damper, New OEM Passenger Side Mount and I get a good big of vibes/noise/etc.

Wow Taz, trying to catch up to Jason in terms of aftermarket mounts?

Haha...perhaps =P I was going to get an aftermarket side mount but they are REALLY expensive and with my ETD in place and the CP-e Kicker (whenever I get around to buying it) the engine will be so rock solid on that side that the difference between the oem and the aftermarket side mounts that I will feel is likely to be negligible. $80 is way better than $250.

May I ask what the point of an after market engine mount is compared to the OEM one?

Better transfer of torque from the engine to the wheels, reducing wheel hop.

Just an update, I had my AC on full blast today, and also noticed more vibes in the pedals and wheel now.
