who did the install? I was really tempting to do this install but wondered how long this stuff lasts on UV rays and if you remove it, will it have a stick residue on your existing plastic finish?
i did the work with my buddy
3M has 4 years warranty
and i did strip down my TT after a full wrap and no glue was left on the car

I think he just felt it was necessary to clear things up, we have atleast 3 things that could get lost in translation here...lol
M3 = Mazda 3

Looks good. I can see other's doing this as well, but choosing vinyl that matches their exterior paint..
I did this on the silver peice around my shifter aswell as the 12v lid, just an fyi i found that since its gotten really warm in my car from the sun (I do alwasy use a sun visor when parked) the corners around where the shift boot is have started to bubble, im going to have to replace it when i get my new boot and knob but just and FYI, i dont think it was an install problem. Every part was pressed down firmly and warmed with a hair dryer, it only bubbles in those corners.
could you take a picture from outside the car looking in to see most of the interior complete?
