sorry for asking newbie question, i did a search but didn't quite get what i was looking for..
i know 08+ uses high beam as drl, so putting hid is not a big problem..correct?
what about 04~07? can you pull drl fuse to stop drl from low beam?or that drl fuse disables whole low beam?
i don't want to use capacitor to keep drl and away from flickering..
i just want to delete drl system..

oh no..
then to delete whole drl thing is to use signal wire from parking light then..
of course when using with relay harness for hid..
and i will have to do the independent fog mod that goes 1 wire somewhere steering wheel, do you happen to know what thin black/red wire is for??
it sure is negative polarity wire from the headlight switch but what exactly is it??

already checked that
still nobody didn't mention what wire is doing what, it is just finger pointed what to do..
and that glove box fuse thing is only works for models with factory hid..
and i was asking about deleting drl for 04~06 models to put aftermarket hid in it.

Where do you get access to the signal wire from the parking light?

Also, by parking light do you mean parking brake light? Cause that's what I mean.

You want the parking light, which is the wire to turn on the amber bulbs (same as turn signal). There are 2 filament (and therefore 2 sets of wiring) to that bulb, with one being the turn signal, and the other being the parking light.

That amber bulb causes problems for me cause of my aftermarket alarm which flashes the hell out of the lights when arm/disarmed. So I ended up connecting the relay input to the fog lights. So now I got no DRL's but I have a switch to turn on/off my HID's
